Job Description
• To be responsible for developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet agreed company objectives.
• To structure departmental development, ensure staff training.
To establish and manage effective programs to compensate, coach, appraise and train sales personnel.
• To carry out and evaluate customer research, market conditions, competitor data and implement marketing plan alterations as needed.
• To oversee all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities.
• To manage the product line to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the marketing of company products and services to the right market whether B2B or B2C.
• Demonstrate technical marketing skills and company product knowledge.
• Develop an annual marketing plan in conjunction with the overall Company development.
This should detail the year's activity to meet agreed company objectives.
• Budget management.
To deliver all marketing activity within the agreed budget.
• To direct marketing staff where budgets are devolved.
• To manage all aspects of print production, receipt and distribution.
• To achieve frequent, timely and positive media coverage across all available media.
• To managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
• To conduct market research in order to identify market requirements for current and future products.
• To develop and implement a company-wide plan to push product, working with all departments for its execution.
• To analyse potential strategic partner relationships for product lines.
• Performs sales activities on major accounts and negotiates sales price and discounts in consultation with the CEO and the property managers.
• Formulates all sales policies, practices and procedures.
• Educates sales team by establishing programs/seminars in the areas of new account sales and growth, sales of emerging products and multi-product sales, profitability, improved presentation strategies, competitive strategies, proper use and level of sales support, management of expenses and business/financial issues on contracts.
• Collaborates with the CEO to establish and control budgets for sales promotion and trade show expenses.
• Reviews expenses and recommends economies.
• Holds regular meeting with sales staff.
• Is responsible for any environments not mentioned here but related to the general Sales & Marketing fields.
