Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Planning:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the resort's goals and objectives.
• Identify key market segments and target audiences for luxury travel and events.
• Create innovative sales programs and initiatives to increase revenue and market share.
• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
Team Leadership and Management:
• Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team ensuring they possess in-depth knowledge of the resort's offerings.
• Set ambitious sales targets, quotas, and objectives for the team.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that promotes teamwork and motivation.
Sales Operations and Execution:
• Oversee the day-to-day sales operations, ensuring efficient processes and workflows.
• Collaborate closely with other departments, such as marketing and reservations, to align strategies and maximize sales opportunities.
• Monitor sales activities, performance, and conversion rates, providing accurate reports to senior management.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize sales efficiency and effectiveness.
Client Relationship Management:
• Build and nurture relationships with high-profile clients, travel agencies, corporate partners, and event planners.
• Conduct face-to-face meetings, presentations, and negotiations with prospective clients.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Stay informed about industry trends, luxury travel preferences, and emerging market demands.
Sales Performance Analysis and Improvement:
• Analyze sales data, market trends, and key performance indicators to identify areas for growth and improvement.
• Develop and implement sales initiatives, promotional campaigns, and pricing strategies to enhance sales performance.
• Conduct regular sales meetings to share best practices, provide training, and motivate the sales team.
• Stay updated on emerging sales techniques, luxury travel trends, and industry best practices.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience in a senior sales management role within the luxury hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury resort or hotel setting.
• Strong leadership abilities with the capability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
• Excellent understanding of luxury travel market dynamics and customer preferences.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and sales management software.
• Strong business acumen and financial acuity.
• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction and revenue growth.

Salary:
The salary for the Sales & Marketing Head position will be competitive and commensurate with experience, ranging from INR 30,000 - 35,000 / month. Additionally, the package may include performance-based bonuses, and other perks associated with the position.
