Job Description:
The chief security officer is responsible for ensuring the overall security of the Rajgangpur plant, its employees, assets, and operations. This includes developing and implementing security protocols, managing security personnel, and collaborating with external agencies to prevent and respond to security threats.
Key responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement comprehensive security policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the safety and security of the plant, employees, and assets.
2. Manage and supervise security personnel, including training, performance evaluation and discipline.
3. Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective measures.
4. Collaborate with external agencies, such as local law enforcement and emergency services, to ensure effective response to security incidents.
5. Investigate security incidents, including theft, vandalism, and other breaches, and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
6. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies related to security.
7. Develop and manage security budgets, including procurement of security equipment and services.
8. Provide security related training and awareness programs to the guard force.
+. Maintaining relationships with local authorities, stakeholders, and neighboring industries to enhance security of the plant.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s Degree
2. Proven experience in security management preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
3. Strong knowledge of security protocols, risk management, and investigation procedures.
4. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
6. Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
7. Experience in managing large-scale security operations.
8. Knowledge of security technology and surveillance systems.
