Introduction:

As the Service Transition Guild Lead this is an exciting opportunity to lead a Global, technology wide, team of Subject Matter Experts in ensuring compliance of IT Application Delivery into Service, to the required Regulations, Policies and Standards. You will take responsibility for the Guild globally, driving innovation in process and procedure, while owning the level of Compliance and Governance enforced by the Guild, across all areas of the Bank.

What will you be doing?

• Ownership and Management of the Service Transition Guild

• Ownership of Processes and Procedures for the Guild

• Ownership of the Service Gateway for Application Delivery into Supported Production Environments

• Ownership of Service-related Risk Management during the Application Delivery lifecycle

• Accountable for Membership and Attendance of related Bank Councils for Governance

• Accountable for Guild Compliance with Governance Targets

• Accountable for maintaining and enforcing the Structure, and Training, of the Guild

• Accountable for driving Product Team compliance with related Governance, Regulations, Enterprise-Wide Risk Management Framework, Policies and Standards

• Responsibility for oversight of Tribe performance through quality checks (not necessarily sampling) to ensure that risk stories meet quality criteria

• Leadership and Development of Direct Reports (Deputy Guild Leads)

What we're looking for:

Personal attributes essential to performing role including competencies, expertise, knowledge, and experience.

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Proven experience in a Governance and Control role

• Proven experience of successful leadership in a global matrix environment

• Able to demonstrate strong communication skills

• Proven experience of senior stakeholder management and service transition in a financial environment

• Proven experience of working in an agile environment, preferably from both delivery and run perspectives

• Knowledge of regulatory environment and risk management

• Exposure to ITIL and a Project Management methodology such as PRINCE2

• Proven experience of implementing metrics to measure and improve performance of a global matrix-based team

• Knowledge of development and release processes/practices in Agile technology delivery functions
