Departmental Oversight: o Manage the front-end team, designing, developing, and maintaining complex full-stack software applications using modern technologies, frameworks, and best practices. o Oversee the back-end team, which leads the design and development of high-performance back-end systems using Spring Boot, Java, Golang, and AWS Services, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. o Lead the DevOps team in automating and streamlining development and deployment processes. o Ensure the security and compliance of our cloud services while managing them effectively and efficiently in line with industry standards such as ISO27001, SOC2, PDPA, GDPR & OWASP o Oversee the QA team to establish and maintain quality standards, processes, and testing methodologies. o Lead the data analytics team, utilizing data insights to drive data-driven decision-making. • Work closely with the Robotics Autonomy team, User Experience team, and Product leads to deliver top-notch software products, from user interfaces to core infrastructure • Coordinate software development activities between our Singapore and India Chennai offices, fostering teamwork and shared goals. • Develop and implement software engineering strategies aligned with LionsBot's mission and vision. Qualifications: o Proven leadership experience in software engineering, with a track record of successfully leading and growing teams. o Deep technical expertise in software development, including front-end and back-end technologies. o Strong experience in quality assurance, cloud security, and data analytics. o Demonstrated success in building and scaling cloud services, including experience with cloud architecture, infrastructure, and deployment. o Built a strong technical team and scale o Proven records in remote team management, guiding and collaborating with cross-regional software development teams. o A track record of transforming a start-up into a scalable, high-growth company, with tangible achievements. o Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement. o Experience integrating with robotics/IOT applications and Big Data Pub/Sub architecture are big plus(es). About you: • A minimum of 14 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a managerial role leading a team of software engineers. • A high-performing individual with exceptional communication skills and a deep respect for team members. • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or an equivalent field. • Proven skills in conflict resolution and team development. • You have a deep passion for the development of innovative products and the transformative power of technology. • You have a successful track record in building and leading effective teams across different regions. • You prioritize and consistently deliver high-quality solutions. • You thrive on staying at the forefront of technological advancements and driving innovation.
