Role summary and key responsibilities: Our liabilities business is presently one of the fastest growing in the industry both in terms of customers and size of the book, coming on the back of superior product proposition and industry leading digital capabilities In next few years, we want to grow the liabilities book by at least 4-5x. In line with overall strategy of the bank, we will build and scale up truly transformational digital, analytics and organizational capabilities which will enable us to acquire high quality customer base and then build deep banking relationship with them to drive this growth As part of this ambition, we want to create country's best digital-led engagement channels to service and engage our most premium customers. The operating model for this engagement channel and portfolio management would be significantly differentiated from traditional setups both in terms of people and tech capabilities. Our intent is to go to market and differentiate our product in the market on the back of the experience and engagement delivered through this channel for our customers We are looking to hire a dynamic business leader who will be responsible for setting up all best in class tech and capabilities to non-linearly scale our digital engagement channel. You will report directly to the Business Head of Digital Engagement and Strategy – Retail Liabilities (RL). You will be responsible for all aspects of the technology for internal users of RL business including, Tech & digital capability build for internal users ( all RL channels including branch sales, branch RMs, virtual RMs) Identify new products, platforms, tools and features to be built, prioritize and create product roadmap Collaborate with design, content and agency teams to conduct user research & ensure customer experience-driven design Utilize market and industry knowledge to translate user needs into user stories and acceptance criteria for their team Incorporate customer & business feedback into product roadmaps, effectively negotiating tradeoffs & conflicting priorities Co-own the on ground adoption of all technology with the channel, identify design hacks, implement feedback loop with users to drive product improvements Next gen tech in engagement channels for productivity & customer experience Consistently analyze competitors and global industry leaders & fintech's to develop deep understanding of latest innovations, digital disruptions and new & upcoming trends e.g. gen AI Assess trends and customer behavior using web analytics to identify, analyze and implement new innovations Contextualize the market trends and new/ upcoming technology to define the products and tools for the bank Key skills and background: Strong experience in building technology , preferably in consumer/ banking/ fintech products Hustler, with challenger mindset & passion to challenge status quo to find innovative solutions to drive out of the box ideas Believer in entrepreneurial culture of brutal ownership, transparency, and trust Strong leadership and management skills , with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams Excellent relationship management skills , with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders Excellent communication and interpersonal skills , with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and senior management Strong project management skills , with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Minimum qualification: 7+ years of relevant work experience in technology and platform delivery roles across banking / financial services / fintechs / consumer tech companies Masters from Tier I/II universities; minimum of a Bachelors Degree from Tier I/II institutes
