Head - Project Sales
Job Purpose
To increase the share of the project sales by ensuring effective planning, development and implementation of the project sales strategy.
Principal Accountabilities
Sales planning & forecasting
• Establishing strong projects network framework and accordingly devising strategies & policies.
• Ensure the effective implementation of the project sales growth strategy to drive profitable sales and pipeline opportunities in allignment with the Organisational business plan.
• To develop the annual sales plan & ensuring the promotion of the value added products.
• Evolving market segmentation & penetration strategies to achieve targets.
• Managing & monitoring the “Project Funnel” for increasing the market share & taking corrective measures if required.
Market intelligence
• Competitive intelligence to reduce business risks and rise to a higher level in the market with the goal of higher revenue and profit.
• Conducting competitor analysis & monitoring competitors activities and devise effective counter measures.
Clientele development
• Build and strengthen relationships with key consultants, contractors, builders, etc.
• Identifying new customer/clientele opportunities.
Brand positioning
• Strategise the positioning of the brand amongst the key influencers.
• Devising region specific key influencers connect programme (Consultant/Contractors Meet etc.) and monitoring its effectiveness
Team development
• To create a conducive environment so that the team members perform at their natural best.
• Identifying, developing and managing sales talent & support continuous improvement in sales capabilities
Desired Profile
Required Qualification
B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical/Civil) from a reputed institution/University
MBA (Sales & Mktg.)from a reputed institution/University
Experience
18 – 20 years of relevant experience
Technical Knowledge & Skills
• Thorough knowledge of the PVC industry
• Indepth knowledge of the complete project cycle.
• Indepth understanding of the techno – commercial aspects of the business
• Ability to identify market opportunities, gaps, customer requirements, competitor actions etc. and formulate & strategic action plans
• Knowledge of market research, market mapping & product promotion & pricing
• Strong networking with MEP/Plumbing consultants, Builders, Plumbing contractors.
