Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Head Waiter at Restaurant Bayrut, located in Montreal, QC. The Head Waiter will manage dining room operations and ensure a high-quality customer service experience. Responsibilities include supervising waitstaff, taking and delivering customer orders, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, addressing customer inquiries and concerns, and assisting with food service and table arrangements. The Head Waiter will also contribute to staff training and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Qualifications
• Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to interact with guests and ensure satisfaction
• Knowledge of Food & Beverage and Food Service practices, including serving, presentation, and safety standards
• Understanding of basic Cooking principles to assist in menu recommendations and ensure quality of service
• Proven leadership, organizational, and team management abilities
• Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is highly desirable
• Ability to remain composed under pressure and resolve issues effectively
• Basic understanding of safety and hygiene regulations in food handling
