Head Wholesale Advisory Department Compliance Grade Senior Vice President and above Location Corporate Office Mumbai Reporting To Chief Compliance Officer Position Purpose The role envisages the incumbent to ensure the Products, Processes and Controls required, are in line with the regulatory prescription and act as a bridge between the Business and the regulators for seeking clarification and providing solutions to business. The role is expected to expert in regulatory guidelines applicable to Credit, Treasury/Markets and FEMA regulations. Further, the role is also expected to take care of International Banking Unit (IBU) at Gift City and expected to handle IFSCA regulators. A. KEY Position Responsibilities Sr. Key Responsibilities 1 Advisory to wholesale business on various aspects like credit, IRAC Norms, Investment Transactions etc 2 Advisory to various business and operations units regarding Trade/FEMA related transactions and cross border remittances. 3 Advisory to Treasury business and operations regarding markets/derivative related transactions including investment transactions. 4 Guidance and advisory to IBU Compliance officer based at Gift City including interaction with IFSCA wherever required. 5 Interacting with the regulators for seeking clarification and solutions to business dilemmas 6 Vetting or drafting of regulatory correspondences 7 The responses provided by the various units for RBI observations are reviewed for their completeness. 8 Reviewing Policies, Product Notes and SOPs + Vetting of summary for regulatory circulars for dissemination. 10 Reviewing controls provided by the various units of the Bank for the obligations mapped to them are reviewed for their design effectiveness. 11 The responses provided by the various units for RBI observations are reviewed for their completeness. 12 Responsible for compliance training and awareness, providing proactive and expert compliance advisory service B. Qualifications and Experience Requirement Qualifications Essential Candidates with CA/CS/ LLB qualification Preferred Essential Work experience of 12 to 15 years with excellent people management skills. Preferred Good drafting skill is a positive C. Competency a.
