What You’ll Bring to the Table | Ngā Mea ka Mauria e Koe ki te Rūnanga:
A health and safety qualification (essential) and a clean Class 1 driver’s licence.
3+ years’ experience in a dedicated Health & Safety role, ideally within infrastructure, construction, or civil works.
Ability to take ownership and lead improvements with a practical, risk-based approach.
Proven experience building strong relationships and influencing at all levels.
Confidence to lead toolbox talks, coach teams, and bring mana and respect to every interaction.

What You’ll Be Doing | Ngā Kawenga Takohanga
Assist the national safety and wellness manager to drive strategy and culture: Champion health and safety priorities aligned with our national plan.
Balance proactive initiatives and investigations: From coaching and training to leading ICAM investigations.
Provide expert H&S advice and assurance activities across diverse operational teams.
Conduct regular site visits, lead health and safety initiatives, and be a visible presence in the field.
Support continuous improvement through audits, reporting, and engagement.
