Healthcare Support Worker
Health Care Assistant
Ross Home, Dunedin
Casual position;
The Role
You'll put your practical skills and compassion into supporting residents with everyday activities such as personal care, assistance at mealtimes, and general care duties that make for happier, healthier living at an Enliven home. You will work hard, but there are few jobs that will give you the immense satisfaction of working for people who are grateful for your help and who contribute to an enriching working environment.
Hours: This is a casual position. We are looking for someone who can work on a when and if required basis.
About You
The ideal applicant will:
Be empathetic, compassionate, and patient
Work well in a team
Enjoy working alongside older people
Be physically fit and strong
Have enthusiasm and a sense of humour
Experience in an aged care environment is preferred
Level 3 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing or equivalent will be an added advantage

Presbyterian Support Otago (PSO) is a Charitable Trust established in 1+06. Our Mission is to walk with people across the generations to create together places to live, learn, and thrive. We call out injustice and advocate for positive change. PSO operates a highly regarded network of 8 care homes across Otago and provides many other community-based social support programmes.
Our services for older people are provided by Enliven. We create elder-centered communities where older people have companionship, meaningful activity, purpose, and fun in their lives.
An integral part of the North Dunedin community, Ross Home supports up to 124 residents living at rest home level care.
