Job Title: Health Care Assistant
OPAL is a 31-bedded ward for older people with frailty and acute medical illness. We are committed to delivering the safest possible patient care, the best possible experience for patients, and making the very best use of the resources we have.
Responsibilities:
Work effectively within a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High degree of physical capacity
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Sensitivity to cultural and ethnic differences
Able to maintain strict confidentiality
Desirable competencies include successful completion of a Care Givers or related course. The expectation is for the successful candidates to complete a study programme, which includes self-directed workbooks.
