Ara Poutama Aotearoa Health Services is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and committed individual who is capable of working in a wide range of Health Care activities based at Rimutaka Prison for prisoners who have ongoing complex health and/or disability needs. Within a Primary health care setting, administrering medication, triaging patients, assisting in health care delivery to patients, all under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
This is an opportunity for a Health Care Assistant with experience in health care to join a high-performing health led team who are dedicated and committed to developing and embedding a Kaupapa Maori based model of care into the heart of health services delivery.

In order to excel in this role, we seek an individual with a proven background in assisting patients confronting complex health and/or disability issues. A certified Level 3 Health Care Assistant, you should demonstrate proficiency in collaborative teamwork, ability to work under guidance, and maintain a non-judgmental approach. Eligibility to work in New Zealand is a prerequisite. If you believe you possess the qualities to instigate a positive change, we eagerly await hearing from you.
Utu a-tau | Salary
The full salary range is $60,100 - $70,350. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
