Develops desirable health goals and determine availability of professional health services.

Working with the HIV/STD Prevention Program to increase community engagement related to HIV/STD prevention education and risk reduction techniques. Other duties will consist of working in conjunction with outreach testing initiatives and local health care providers, and community ****** distribution. Working directly with Health Education supervisor and other HIV/STD prevention staff.

Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in Public Health Education from an accredited college or university OR Bachelor's degree in Education, Social, Behavioral or Biological Sciences or a directly related field from an accredited college or university AND One year of experience in public health education. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: In addition to the minimum qualifications, preference will be given to applicants with a strong knowledge of HIV/AIDS/PrEP and a strong understanding of the National HIV Strategy and barriers to care. Also, must demonstrate the ability to present to large and/or small groups.
