Job Description
The Health Promotion Officer will work with the Harm Reduction Program to develop and implement evidence-based projects that aim to reduce the harms associated with injecting drug use.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing evidence-based health promotion initiatives
Providing harm reduction interventions for clients of the program, including needle syringe provision, health education, brief intervention, and referral
Contribute to the clinical redesign of the Harm Reduction Program to increase access to primary healthcare services
Required Skills and Qualifications
Tertiary qualifications in social science, health, or a related field are required. Demonstrated experience and knowledge in delivery of evidence-based health promotion is essential.
