The Opportunity
We are entering an exciting phase of growth at Interflow and have an opportunity for a Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Business Partner to join the team. Working closely with your national colleagues, you will support operations across Interflow's Central region (NSW & ACT), growing and developing our team members and setting the standard in HSE performance. You will need to be agile, inquisitive and an out of the box thinker as the region continues to expand its capability in a great pipeline of work.
Main Responsibilities Include
Building HSE capability with a focus on contemporary thinking and approaches to enhance HSE performance
Assist in shaping a regional HSE strategy to mitigate risks and enhance HSE performance
Identify and drive safety initiatives, innovations, and technology to lead industry best practice and enhance productivity outcomes
Conduct regular risk management reviews and risk workshops with a focus on critical risks and controls
Key Selection Criteria
Tertiary qualified in Work Health Safety, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
Experience in construction safety management, with an understanding of construction processes, equipment, and hazards
High levels of agility and problem solving to drive WHS improvement
Leadership, coaching and mentoring skills coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to do some travel across NSW and ACT
