The Opportunity
Ravenhall Correctional Centre, Victoria's largest prison for adult males, is seeking an enthusiastic Health Services Contracts and Performance Manager to coordinate administrative oversight between forensic mental and primary health services, as well as the integration of these health services at the Centre and be part of best practice clinical governance frameworks.
You’ll have a background in nursing and will be passionate about collaborating with stakeholders to deliver key healthcare services.
Your Key Impact Areas
As the Health Services Contracts and Performance Manager, you are part of the Centre's Senior Leadership Team and will work closely with various contracted / subcontracted healthcare providers to ensure services are provided in line with the contractual requirements between GEO and the State. Some of your key responsibilities include:
Managing the contractual arrangements between GEO and other healthcare partners.
Work with various partners to integrate health services provision with other elements of service delivery at the Centre.
Lead and actively promote the provision of all services to people in prison, using a values-based approach.
Establish and maintain operational meeting structures which monitor and oversight the provision of mental and general health services by the Service Providers.
Develop and maintain community relationships and other relevant business-related partnerships.

Is This You? Your Essential Skills for Success
The ideal candidate will possess:
Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Registration as a registered nurse and/or Qualifications in health services management or business management.
Minimum 5 years' experience in senior service management and demonstrated record of achievement in management in a large and/or complex environment.
Demonstrated experience in financial management, strategic/business planning, service integration and service evaluation to ensure forensic mental and health services are provided in accordance with contractual requirements.
Experience in contract management at a senior level, including the monitoring and audit of Service Delivery Outcomes and KPIs delivered by contracted service providers.

Please Note: This role is situated within a correctional setting and will involve direct contact with prisoners. Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance is mandatory.
