Job Dimensions:
• Directly responsible for delivering on the business revenues (renewal and new business targets) targeted to the business unit / region managed.
• Team management as directed for the Regional Head role.
• Responsible for team hiring, development, mentoring, guiding, and training team of client Relationship managers (CRMs) for all client stewardship activities delivered in a professional manner.
• Will lead the team of CRMs to achieve revenue targets through retention & organic growth and cross-sell of existing business and support sales teams to achieve business targets.
• Will support the team in market strategy, RFP processes and market negotiation to ensure quote competitiveness and closures.
• Provide accurate closure and forecast report on monthly, quarterly and end of year business. Role will be required to monitor accuracy of the income booking process & collections reported by their team, including minimising of reversed incomes and issues around incomplete collections. Maintain the team’s weighted pipeline of all renewal and new business opportunities as per RM-wise target/ budget allocation.
• Will include supporting strategic partnerships, including market & business relationships of key stakeholders at the client & vendor/ business partner end as needed with the Broking team.
• Will train and guide team to develop consulting expertise and to present and execute all client consulting services including benchmarking, claims reviews and consulting projects. Will guide team to develop and execute client benefits strategy in-line with the principles laid down for and by the client and ensure that the benefits plan is executed in line with the same without deviation.
• Will need to ensure CRMs lead and conclude all legal documentation like NDA, Broker Services Agreement, SLAs, TOBA and enable / conclude all discussions with the respective legal teams including Aon legal and compliance teams.
• Will audit RMs and liaise with clients at various levels to understand their needs in detail and ensure that they are appropriately advised on every area of employee benefits.
• Will work with Client services teams (who are a separate team that are responsible for transactional services) to ensure quality delivery of services to clients.
• Will support and guide RMs to execute all strategy led OPD, wellness & Flex initiatives with support from concerned speciality teams.
• Will promote a collaborative team-work environment by encouraging RMs to closely work with other non-HS colleagues servicing the client and ensure that all important updates on that clients are circulated to all. Will ensure all local & global protocols are adhered and fulfilled by the team within laid out timelines.
• Actively support & lead ‘Delivering Aon United’ (DAU) culture. Collaborate among solution lines by identifying key industries and clients with common focus and potential. Collaborate with non-HS lines to identify and support the pursuit of cross-sell opportunities into non-HS lines (HCS, WS, CRS and RIS). Ensure HS member is added as a team member into the Aon Connect opportunity.
• Graduate, with professional, management, IRDAI licentiate certificate. Insurance professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
• 10 years relevant and 15+ years’ overall experience.
• Location: Gurgaon/Noida
• Encourage culture of inter-team collaboration to be assessed via Aon Connect reports and examples of such collaboration including generation of NB opportunities for sales team and speciality teams.

Key Performance Indicators:
• Demonstrate thought leadership via consultative advisory, strategic market relationship, through whitepaper &, public speaking opportunities.
• Demonstrate strategic leadership via mentoring and guiding team of RMs to achieve HS objective of qualitative revenue growth through retention, cross sell & new business.

Skills and Attitude:
• In managing teams with capability of man management of diverse demography with ability to drive team without any biases, in line with Aon’s people management philosophy.
• Dynamic self- motivated collaborative team player with the ability to keep the team motivated.
• A consulting mind-set, with strong analytical skills & competitive drive. Holds effective communication, presentation, consultative selling, advising, and negotiation skills.
• Solid technical understanding of the insurance benefits market for health life and accident benefits in India primarily with some knowledge of international trends.
