The Health Workforce Training & Program Coordinator supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of national training and technical assistance programs that strengthen the public health and HIV prevention workforce across the United States.
This role works closely with community-based organizations, health departments, and national partners to coordinate training initiatives, deliver workforce development programs, and support culturally responsive public health messaging grounded in health equity.
The position is ideal for professionals with experience in public health, health education, social services, or community-based programs who are passionate about improving health outcomes for LGBTQ+ communities and populations disproportionately impacted by HIV.
Note: This is a public health workforce development position and not an IT or technology role.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Technical Assistance (TA)
• Coordinate and support national training and technical assistance initiatives for community-based organizations and public health partners.
• Facilitate virtual and in-person trainings for public health professionals, community organizations, and program partners.
• Support the development of training materials, presentations, and workforce development resources.
