As a Healthcare Assistant based in West Midlands, Shropshire, Bishop's Castle, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to patients within the healthcare setting. Your primary role will involve assisting healthcare professionals in delivering treatment and monitoring patient progress.
Job Duties
Assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding patients
Taking vital signs and recording patient information accurately
Supporting patients with mobility and transfers
Ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients
Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Required Qualifications
Not accepting someone on sposorship
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Health and Social Care
Valid DBS check
Basic life support training
Education
A minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
Experience
Prior experience working in a healthcare setting is desirable
6 Months experiance in Nursing home or in the hospital
Knowledge And Skills
Understanding of patient care principles
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
First Aid certification
Working Conditions
This position involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. You will be required to work shifts, including weekends and evenings, to ensure 24/7 patient care coverage.
