Currently we have 24 locations nationwide, employing over 1800 staff and providing professional aged care for more than 1700 residents. We are one of the leading health care providers in New Zealand.
Location: Radius Glaisdale, 50 Hare Puke Drive, Flagstaff, Hamilton
Hours of work: Part-time, 6 hours per week, over a rotating 24/7 roster (may include weekends and public holidays)
Note: Radius Care cannot support work visas/visa changes for part-time HCAs. Visa-holders must have a current visa with open work rights and preferably at least 6 months left until expiry.
Pay rate: Subject to completed recognized caregiving qualifications
About the role:
Provide exceptional care to our residents under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families. Work closely with a team to implement our individual care plans. Full training provided.
Duties include:
Undertaking personal cares, while encouraging residents to make decisions that promote independence
Promptly completing delegated tasks in a timely manner
Responding quickly to resident requests, providing them with useful, relevant information
Maintaining and updating resident healthcare records
Assisting with handover of residents at shift changes
