Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of HVAC systems across commercial and residential properties. Your expertise will ensure optimal indoor climate control, energy efficiency, and system reliability. Responsibilities
Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration units, and ventilation equipment.
Read and interpret schematics, technical diagrams, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as filter replacements, system calibrations, and component inspections to prevent future failures.
Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems, including pipe fitting and leak repairs.
Utilize specialized tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for component fabrication or repair.
Diagnose mechanical problems using comprehensive mechanical knowledge and field service techniques; repair or replace faulty components efficiently.
Maintain detailed service records, complete work orders promptly, and communicate effectively with clients regarding system status and recommendations.
Ensure compliance with safety standards related to ammonia refrigeration, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration), and property maintenance protocols.
Operate a driver vehicle safely for on-site visits or equipment transport as needed.
Experience
Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC installation, maintenance, or repair roles.
Strong background in construction-related tasks involving HVAC systems or mechanical installations.
Familiarity with schematics, technical diagrams, and HVAC design principles.
Hands-on experience with refrigeration systems—including ammonia refrigeration—is highly desirable.
Mechanical knowledge spanning plumbing, appliance repair, boiler operation, welding techniques, and equipment repair.
Field service experience working on air conditioning units, property maintenance projects, or similar environments.
Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively in troubleshooting electrical components.
