Your Role:
• You will perform thorough inspections of electrical installations for transportation projects within the State Highway System and Metro Rail, ensuring they comply with approved plans, specifications, and safety standards.
• Day and night work schedules are anticipated to meet project demands.
• You will evaluate the quality and compliance of electrical materials and equipment used on-site against contract specifications and regulations.
• Your coordination and communication skills will be vital as you work with contractors, engineers, and regulatory agencies to maintain high standards in electrical installations.
• Overseeing the testing and verification of electrical systems such as street lighting and traffic signals will be key to ensuring compliance with project safety and performance requirements.
• You will inspect and verify electrical wiring and grounding systems to ensure adherence to design specifications and industry standards.
• Your vigilance in monitoring installations will promote safety compliance with OSHA and NFPA regulations, minimizing workplace hazards.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all inspections, including issue resolutions and approval statuses, and prepare reports for stakeholders.
• You'll provide input on proposed change orders affecting electrical systems, assessing their impacts on scope, timeline, and budget.
• Coordinate necessary third-party inspections and specialized tests to confirm electrical systems’ functionality and safety before final project approval.
• This position requires you to be onsite to ensure effective delivery and strengthen client relationships.
Salary: $70 - $90 an hour
Compensation is based on various factors, including role, location, and experience. Accenture offers different benefits depending on the legal entity and country.
What You Need:
• A bachelor’s degree in architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management, or five years of relevant construction experience.
• A minimum of ten years of full-time professional experience in related fields.
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across various Southern California project areas.
Bonus Points:
• Relevant certifications such as EIT, PMP, or CCM.
• Knowledge of Caltrans Standard Specifications and Test Methods.
• Proficiency in using technology for data management and reporting.
