Mechanic Heavy Duty – Full Time
Vehicle Dealers International have been the sole national distributor for Yutong buses since 2018, specialising in distributing Yutong buses and luxury coaches to a wide range of businesses and industries across Australia. We currently have branches in Cairns, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Perth. We are at the forefront of the industries transition to zero emission buses, we are incredibly proud of, and passionate about the extension range of vehicles we offer.
Despite rapid growth during this period, we remain an Australian owned and family operated business.
Due to our continued growth, we are now looking for another full time HD Mechanic to join our Team at our modern workshop located in Prestons. Our new team member will be part of a small team and will be assisting to prepare new buses for delivery, general servicing and maintenance repairs on buses/coaches whether in or out of warranty so will gain a lot of experience in the bus industry. There is also a lot of opportunities to develop your skills as we transition in the Electric bus revolution.
To be successful in this position you will have:
Trade Qualification - Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic
MR (Medium Rigid) Licence or ability to obtain
Maintenance Experience on bus/trucks (highly desirable)
Ability to work in a team
Forklift & working at height certificates highly desirable

We offer a competitive annual salary range of $76,515.00 and $80,000.00. The rate will be negotiated at interview.
