The role of a Heavy Commercial Mechanic involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy vehicles to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair damaged suspension parts and mechanical components
Dismantle and fit new mechanical and suspension parts
Conduct quality control and inspection of vehicles
Test drive vehicles to ensure they meet quality repair standards
Label and store parts according to Workshop standards
Check new parts for correctness and damage
Perform adaptations based on completed diagnoses
Clean work bay and workshop areas
Requirements
Qualified Mechanic with experience in the heavy smash industry
HR Truck Licence (desirable)
Strong commitment to safety
Desire to grow and build skills with an out-of-the-box approach
Good attitude with excellent communication skills
High attention to detail and process-driven
Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in work approach
