HD Truck Mechanic – Full Time
GMG Haulage | Kwinana Beach, WA
GMG Haulage is a proudly family-owned and operated business, built on strong values and a commitment to our people. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Trade Qualified HD Truck Mechanic to join our team.
This is a workshop-based role working on a well-maintained and varied fleet, with occasional site work as required.
Key Responsibilities
Service, repair and maintain prime movers and trailers
Carry out brake, bearing and general mechanical repairs
Diagnose and fault-find mechanical and electrical issues
Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections
Complete accurate service records and documentation
Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop
Work collaboratively with the workshop team
Attend occasional off-site breakdowns or support work
Skills & Experience
Trade qualification in Heavy Diesel Mechanics (or equivalent)
Previous experience working on trucks and trailers (essential)
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
Ability to work unsupervised and manage workload effectively
High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Commitment to workplace safety and compliance
