Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and fixing engines, hydraulics, and transmissions on ship support vehicles and cargo operations equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair complex engine issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques
Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and reliability of equipment
Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices in heavy diesel engineering
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry developments
Requirements:
Level 4 Heavy Diesel Mechanic qualification or equivalent
At least 4 years of hands-on experience in heavy diesel engineering
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A valid driver's license (bonus points if you have Class 4)
