HEAVY VEHICLE MECHANICS / FITTERS - BDS MECHANICAL
We’re looking for skilled Diesel Mechanics and Fitters to join our Brisbane team in full-time, permanent positions. The successful candidates will possess the following:
Relevant trade qualification
Diagnostic experience
Strong fault-finding skills
Experience with trucks and trailers
Heavy earthmoving experience (advantageous)
Good communication skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Truck licence (preferred)
Additional skills, experience, tickets, and licences will be highly regarded
Your duties will include:
Diesel engine diagnostics & repair, major and minor rebuilds
General Repairs/maintenance works – Trucks & Trailers/4×4’s
Replacing vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions and braking systems
Checking vehicle lighting systems
Test driving vehicles to gauge performance
Maintaining detailed records of serviced vehicles
Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist
