Full job description
We're looking for experienced Heavy Diesel Technicians with at least 2 years' experience in open cut mining working on a variety of mobile plant equipment. This is your opportunity to jump on the Emeco bandwagon and join our friendly crew in the Goldfields.
We have a few Heavy Diesel Technician opportunities across a few different sites all offering the below perks:
CASUAL RATES UP TO $83.25 + SUPER OR FULL-TIME $70.00 + SUPER (Base + Allowances)

What your day looks like:
Ongoing maintenance and optimisation of Emeco’s heavy earthmoving fleet.
Providing support to the Emeco rental fleet as required
Working safely and adhering to relevant HSE policy and procedures to minimise the risk of injury to yourself and others.
Ensuring all maintenance and optimisation targets are met on time and within budget.
Working with Emeco customers and stakeholders to meet larger organisational objectives.
What we’ll need from you:
Must have full working rights within Australia
Proven post-trade experience with heavy earthmoving equipment; namely Caterpillar, Komatsu, and Hitachi
Recognised National Heavy Diesel Mechanic / Fitter Trade Qualification
High level of understanding of maintenance and reliability principles
Hold a current Australian Driver's License (HR is preferable)
High risk licence (is preferable) but we also offer in-house training.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and ******* screening, and provide a current National Police Check.
