FIFO Diesel Fitter | 2:1 Roster | Full-time Opportunity
Are you a Diesel Fitter looking for your next FIFO opportunity from Perth? Join the team at Emeco, where you’ll enjoy genuine camaraderie, strong team culture, and the backing of a leading name in mining maintenance.
We're currently seeking skilled tradespeople to join our crew at Orelia Mine Site, located just 80km north-east of Leinster.

Your Day-to-Day:
Perform routine maintenance and fault diagnosis on Emeco’s fleet
Support the rental fleet when required
Uphold safety standards and follow all HSE protocols
Meet scheduled maintenance deadlines and support cost-effective performance
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to support wider business goals
What You’ll Bring:
Post-trade experience on Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi equipment
A recognised Heavy Diesel Mechanic/Fitter trade qualification
Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance and reliability practices
Team-focused attitude and solid communication skills
Current Australian Driver’s Licence (HR preferred)
High-risk work licence (preferred but not essential – we’ll train you)
Fleet You'll Be Working On:
Caterpillar – D10T, 16M, 78+C/D, 777D, ++2G/K
Hitachi – EX1200-7, EX2600-7
Liebherr – R+400
...with new gear joining the fleet in 2026!
