Perdaman Global Services is a leading provider of services to the mining and industrial sectors. We are currently advertising for a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician to join our team in Goondiwindi, Queensland. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary of AUD$73,150 per annum.
About the Job:
The Heavy Duty Equipment Technician will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and testing of heavy duty equipment, including diesel engines and mechanical parts. Key duties include repairing, maintaining, and testing equipment, conducting fault tests, and reassembling engines and parts after repair.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety. They should also possess high attention to detail, excellent management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
We are looking for someone with extensive knowledge of diesel engine repair techniques, tools, and diagnostic equipment, as well as proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics. The successful candidate will also be physically fit and able to undergo a mandatory pre-employment medical and/or drug and ******* testing.
