We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining and repairing various types of heavy machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards. Duties
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including cranes and Caterpillar machinery.
Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals to identify problems accurately.
Operate heavy equipment as needed for testing and troubleshooting purposes.
Utilize hand tools and welding equipment to perform repairs and modifications.
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed, including parts used and time spent on repairs.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
Skills
Proficient in heavy equipment repairs.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems effectively.
Competence in reading and interpreting schematics for various machinery types.
Excellent customer service skills, fostering positive relationships with clients and team members.
