Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Alignment and Suspension Technician to join our team at Turbo Truck Tire and Alignment. This position requires expertise in performing alignments and suspension repairs for semi trucks. Additionally, the technician will be responsible for handling various other maintenance tasks including tire changes, brake repairs, seal replacements, and other basic mechanical duties. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in heavy-duty truck maintenance, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and demonstrate a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Responsibilities:
Perform alignments and suspension repairs on semi trucks using specialized equipment and tools.
Diagnose and repair suspension components including shocks, springs, axles, and steering systems.
Conduct wheel alignments to ensure proper handling and tire wear.
Replace and balance tires on semi trucks, ensuring correct specifications are met.
Inspect, diagnose, and repair brake systems on heavy-duty vehicles.
Replace seals and perform other basic mechanical tasks as needed.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while working on vehicles.
Assist with other mechanical tasks and provide support to team members as needed.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Alignment and Suspension Technician, preferably in a commercial truck or fleet environment.
Strong knowledge of heavy-duty truck systems, including suspensions, brakes, tires, and steering.
Proficiency in using alignment equipment and diagnostic tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong commitment to workplace safety and cleanliness.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
