Road Trains of Australia (RTA) prides itself in having over a decade of experience in safe & dependable transportation of livestock, petroleum and bulk commodities throughout the north of Western Australia, Northern Territory and Queensland in their fleet of prime movers.
RTA are currently seeking a fully qualified Heavy Duty Mechanical Fitter to join the business on a full-time basis.
As a Heavy-Duty Mechanical Fitter, you will maintain our equipment to ensure it is roadworthy and your duties will include, but are not limited to:
Repairs and Service of Heavy Duty Road trucks
Repairs and Servicing checks.
Recording of work completed
Safe operation, daily pre-start checks.
Compliance to legislation, regulation and Company's policies & procedures
The successful candidate will have:
Trade qualifications
A valid HR/MC license (desirable but not essential)
Willingness to undertake and clear a full Medical & drug & ******* fitness assessment
Provide Rights to work in Australia
Great attention to detail, taking pride in your work
National Police Clearance

Pay: $38.00 – $50.00 per hour
Experience:
Heavy Duty Diesel mechanic: 1 year (Preferred)
