Alta Equipment Group (also known locally as AULT Industries Inc.) is seeking a highly organized, energetic individual to fill an immediate opening for a full-time Heavy Equipment Service Technician. Experience with crushing and screening equipment is preferred, but consideration will be extended to candidates with previous experience servicing diesel, hydraulic, and/or farm equipment.
Responsibilities
Domestic travail mandatory – We perform our work in Quarry and Mine sites.
Our heavy equipment consists mainly of crusher, screener and conveyor.
Inspect crushing and screening equipment upon initial delivery for defects
Inspect and diagnose faults or malfunctions
Adjust crushing and screening equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems, using hand or power tools
Test repaired equipment for the proper performance
Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on crushing and screening equipment
Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
Accounts for all time and material used in performing assigned duties
Maintains condition of mobile service vehicle, inventory, tools, and equipment
Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment
Additional duties as required
Skills
Valid driver’s license, with clean Driver’s Abstract
Minimum 2 years of experience performing service repairs
Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
Ability to lift 75 lbs. repeatedly
Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to use basic computer functions and the MS-Office Suite of products
Ability to work alone or as a member of a team with other tradespersons
The capability of working outside in all types of weather for on-site customer service and inside a shop
A strong work ethic, reliability and dependability are key requirements for this position
Schedule
Monday to Friday
Full-time | Permanent
Overtime hours may be required
