Job Description:
We are seeking a Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic whose responsibilities are to inspect, analyze, test, replace, measure, repair, adjust, and perform full or partial repairs and maintenance to our customer’s rig fleet, equipment, engines, and machines.
• Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
• Perform repair work and mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of various components and equipment
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repairs required
• Order parts and maintain inventory
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
• Keep maintenance reports and documentation
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications
• Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
Requirements:
• Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic with CVIP License
• Ability to use diagnostic software to troubleshoot and repair faults
• Capacity to work constructively under pressure
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrates initiative and strong organizational skills
• Exceptional communication skills while maintaining a professional customer service-focused attitude
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must possess solid written and verbal communication skills and be able to perform basic computer operations such as opening and closing work orders
• Understanding the importance of time management
