Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team for a prestigious Aramco project in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting heavy equipment used in construction, oil & gas, and industrial projects. This role demands a high level of technical expertise and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in heavy equipment such as bulldozers, cranes, loaders, excavators, and graders.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment efficiency and safety.
• Conduct repairs on engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and other components as per manufacturer specifications.
• Utilize diagnostic tools, service manuals, and equipment schematics to address mechanical issues.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and service logs.
• Ensure compliance with Aramco safety and quality standards during all repair and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure equipment availability and operational readiness.
• Identify parts and materials needed for repairs and ensure timely procurement.
• Provide training and guidance to equipment operators on proper maintenance practices.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Heavy Equipment Maintenance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, preferably in the oil & gas or construction sector.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures, especially in industrial or oil & gas environments.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment brands such as Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo, and Liebherr.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical fitness and the ability to work in challenging environments.
