Hiring Mechanics
Heavy Equipment Mechanic Benefits :
• Pay : Up to $40 / hr based on experience
• At least $1,600 a week
• Overtime available
• 5K Diesel Mechanic Sign-on Bonus
• Health benefits starting day 1 including
• Medical insurance
• Life insurance
• Dental insurance
• Vision insurance coverage
What you'll do :
• Performs preventative maintenance on all vehicles (approx. 70) every +0 days.
• Diesel Mechanic performs inspections on vehicles every +0 days.
• Diesel Mechanic repairs, as necessary, all vehicles to ensure they are safe and legal for use.
• Maintains registration all vehicles.
• Performs emergency on-road vehicle break down repairs as necessary.
• Maintains official vehicle records. Handles all transportation related agency inspections.
• Purchases all parts & supplies as needed. Insures VIK, VRS inspections are performed annually on tanker equipment.
• Installs PTOs, and pumps and new equipment for bulk deliveries.
• Assists tank farm personnel as needed with pump failures.
• Maintains waste oil generation and disposal records.
Heavy Equipment Mechanic Requirements :
• At least 3 years of diesel mechanic experience
• Specialized training preferred in the following :
Cummins diesel engines
• Eaton transmissions and differentials
• Rockwell differentials
• Heavy duty truck suspensions
• Heavy duty brake system
