Legion Drilling Australia is a specialist provider of Environmental and Geotechnical drilling services to leading consulting firms. Our clients are a diverse range of commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects.
We are now looking for mechanical/drill fitter to join our team in Wetherill Park, NSW.
This position will provide a great variety of work experience, constantly challenging with great opportunities for training and career development. Equipment includes drilling rigs, compressors, pumps and heavy vehicles. Successful applicants will be required to be on call for 1 week per month and will be required to do occasional travel to attend breakdowns or service equipment in remote locations.
We are on the hunt for individuals who are motivated, intelligent, committed to personal development and a have a passion for great quality workmanship.

Desirable Skills:
Diesel engine diagnostics and repair.
Basic welding and fabrication.
Heavy equipment rebuilding and refurbishing.
Maintenance of heavy drilling equipment
Understanding of hydraulic systems
Electrical fault finding
Desirable attributes:
Willing to travel occasionally for breakdown assistance or planned maintenance(Rostered).
A love of machines and a passion for understanding them.
Computer literacy and a willingness to embrace new technologies.
Enjoy working in small teams to overcome challenges.
A desire to learn and grow.
Required Qualifications:
Relevant Trade certificate
Must have own tools
Able to Pass Fitness for work medical
Able to Pass Police clearance without criminal conviction
Australian citizen
