We are working with a major retail heavy truck repair company iwho is seeking an experienced Heavy Truck Mechanic.
Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and diagnose repair needs
• Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Repair heavy trucks - mechanical, electrical systems, and drive train.
• Fabricating, welding, and building aftermarket upgrades as needed
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and inspections on fuels, fluids, and lubrication
• Perform preventative maintenance on industrial hydraulic, electrical, air and water systems
• Perform and document inspections
• Follow all company and industry regulations and rules
• Occasional field service work
Experience & Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years' experience of maintenance/service with heavy trucks
• Weldnig and fabrication experience
• Must be a team player with strong communication skills
• Must have a current Driver's License with a clean driving record
• CDL is a plus but not required
Compensation:
• $27 - $50 per hour
• Excellentt Benefits package
