Responsibilities of Heavy Truck Mechanic:
• Repair heavy duty trucks and equipment
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance on diesel equipment
• Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
• Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle
• Diagnose electrical and engine issues, overall diesel engine, replace brakes, clutch, wheel, seals etc.
• As a diesel technician you will work in a clean safe environment
Qualifications of Heavy Truck Mechanic:
• 1+ years of previous experience as a technician/ diesel technician preferred
• Knowledge of shop equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with bumper to bumper maintenance required
• CDL A or B preferred
• Computer literacy is highly preferred
• diesel technician training is provided as well
• Must live within 30 miles of Florence, KS
