Heavy Duty Truck and Trailer Mechanic
Location: 21875 Lake Ridge Road, Pefferlaw, ON
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: TBD - Competitive wages based on experience + benefits
We’re seeking a Heavy Duty Truck and Trailer Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, and repair a wide range of commercial trucks and trailers. From routine maintenance to complex repairs, you’ll help keep our fleet running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, heating and cooling system, and welding, engine issues, and truck-trailer repairs (tires)
Perform preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers
Conduct safety inspections and complete work orders/documentation
Perform DriveOn Annual inspections using diagnostic equipment (provided onsite)
Utilize diagnostic tools and repair manuals
Respond to breakdowns and emergency repair requests (may include field work)
What We’re Looking For:
Valid 310T Truck and Coach Technician license
3+ years of experience as a 310T mechanic
Knowledge of diesel engines, air brakes, hydraulics, and electrical systems
Valid driver’s license (commercial license an asset)
Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
