Flex Industries is a family-owned business operating in Kwinana Beach and Kalgoorlie.
After recent growth Flex Industries require a self-motivated & safety conscious Heavy Vehicle Diesel
Mechanics to join our Kwinana Beach team for an immediate start.
Flex Industries provides Mechanical/Auto Electrical service and repairs to a wide variety of customers on all types of Heavy Vehicle equipment. Onsite work can potentially take you places within regional WA.
Essential Criteria:
Valid Australian or NZ Recognised Trade Certificate
Post trade experience minimum 3 years, experience with Road Transport/Truck & Trailer Repairs, fault
diagnosis and servicing
Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Self-motivation with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Be able to work within a team environment.
Valid C class driver’s license (HR and DG desirable)
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & ******* test.
High awareness of Safety in the workplace
Effective communication skills, reliable & organised
General Duties:
Diagnose, overhaul, repair, maintain and test diesel equipment including trucks and trailers, buses, and
other small fixed & mobile equipment.
Complete tasks within set time frames
Communicate any safety or maintenance issues to the supervisor.
Compliance with all safety & current regulations /standards
Other duties as requested by your supervisor.
Desirable:
Solid electrical diagnostic capabilities.
Hydraulic knowledge
Welding experience
Workshop based environment including some field service and onsite work.
Full Time Employment (40 to 55 hrs/wk, alternate Sat mornings / On Call Roster)
