CMV Truck & Bus are the Victorian dealer for Volvo Group Australia (Mack, Volvo and UD Trucks) and have over 500 employees with 8 main dealerships across Victoria. We sell trucks and buses and provide service and parts for our complete range as the authorized dealer network.

About the role
This is a rewarding and busy role servicing and repairing an impressive range of Volvo, Mack and UD Trucks with the newest technology.
The role will be suited self-motivated individuals with time management skills, attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, diagnostic ability, repair skills and strong customer service ethics with an interest to provide a service that exceeds our customers expectations.
This role is being offered on a full-time permanent basis, in one of the largest, cleanest workshops in Australia. Working Monday to Friday with rostered Saturday work.

Your main responsibilities
Repairs, service and inspections to engines, gearboxes, brakes, diffs etc. on a wide range of trucks
Diagnostic analysis using the latest diagnostic software and computer equipment
Produce clear and concise reports detailing all work carried out on repair orders including supplies used and recommendations in a prioritised order
Provide support and guidance to Apprentice technicians
You will need to have
Minimum certificate 3 mechanical trade certificate/qualification
Experience in the Heavy Vehicle industry, preferred
Experience with American, European or Japanese drivelines will be highly regarded
Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a customer focused team
Current HC/HR drivers licence an advantage but not essential
Pride in your work with an ability to work to targets and high standards
High levels of motivation, reliable with a can-do, positive attitude
Effective communication skills with a commitment to workplace safety
