About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team supporting our bus and coach fleet. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic skills and experience working on large passenger vehicles, ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of our fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform repairs, servicing, and testing on company buses and coaches.
Diagnose and conduct preventative maintenance on a wide range of buses and coaches.
Attend breakdowns when required.
Undertake general repairs within the depot and wash bays.
Meet strict deadlines and demonstrate reliability and a strong work ethic.
Requirements:
Trade qualified diesel mechanic.
Car license as a minimum (heavy vehicle license advantageous).
Experience in diagnosing and repairing general mechanical faults.
Previous gearbox, general repairs, and servicing duties experience.
Roadside experience.
Ability to meet strict deadlines.
Reliable with a good work ethic.
Motivated and team-oriented.
Medically fit and prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical with drug & ******* screening.
