Responsibilities
Responds to trouble tickets to resolve user problems
Under general supervision, provide technical software, hardware and network problem resolution to all computer users by performing question/problem diagnosis and guiding users through step-by step solutions in a government environment; clearly communicate technical solutions in a user-friendly, professional manner; provide one-on-one end-user training as needed; assist network technicians; troubleshoot network printer problems; assign complex end-user problems on to network technicians; conduct hardware and software inventory database maintenance and reporting; and perform related work as required
Provide personal computer support, problem analysis, and hardware/software installation and configuration
Provide phone, remote, and desk-side technical support to users in the areas of e-mail, directories, standard Windows desktop applications, and network connectivity
Provide support to include configuration of systems, communications devices, and peripheral equipment such as printers and MFD's
Correct and restore user PC workstations, laptops and Virtual Systems to operational status
Provide desk-side training and technical support to customer as needed
Manage individual work order tickets within an enterprise environment

Vista Defense Technologies, LLC. (VDT) is seeking a Help Desk Technician
Must have experience with Windows 10 operating system. Responds to trouble tickets to resolve user problems. Under general supervision, provide technical software, hardware and network problem resolution to all computer users by performing question/problem diagnosis and guiding users through step-by step solutions in a government environment; clearly communicate technical solutions in a user-friendly, professional manner; provide one-on-one end-user training as needed; assist network technicians; troubleshoot network printer problems; assign complex end-user problems on to network technicians; conduct hardware and software inventory database maintenance and reporting; and perform related work as required.
Additional responsibilities include:
• Provide personal computer support, problem analysis, and hardware/software installation and configuration.
• Provide phone, remote, and desk-side technical support to users in the areas of e-mail, directories, standard Windows desktop applications, and network connectivity.

Preferred Requirements:
• 2 years of Desktop and Laptop support experience.
• Experience with Windows 10 and Active Directory Structure
• Working knowledge and use of remote access tools.
• VPN tools and Troubleshooting.
Requirements:
• Must be able to attain a Tier 3 level clearance. (Secret)
• COMPTIA Security + is required.
• Position located in Jacksonville, FL.
