Must be able to successfully pass an Occupational Vision Test
Must be able to pass Constr and Skilled Trades Test - CAST
Must be physically able to perform all assigned tasks
Must be able to work in inclement weather, direct sunlight, and during nighttime hours
Must be able to follow instructions to ensure personal, crew and public safety

Responsibilities
This position is responsible for removing and installing existing self-contained single phase on-demand Meters in customer field facilities as a one-person crew only after receiving the single phase, self-contained meter portion of the Meterman B Training Program
Operating in a safe manner at all times in accordance with all safety rules and have excellent safe driving record
Must be able to read watt-hour meter registers and distinguish the different types of meters and type code
Assisting Meter Electrician “A” or “B” as part of the crew make-up for ladder runs and CT cable pulls and multiple meter sets of more than four (4) meters

Must be willing to travel, support storm events and work extended hours

Position Specific Description
Florida Power & Light Company’s Customer Service Business Unit is seeking a Helper to join their team. This position is responsible for removing and installing existing self-contained single phase on-demand Meters in customer field facilities as a one-person crew only after receiving the single phase, self-contained meter portion of the Meterman B Training Program.
