About the Role
Barnes Logistics Ltd is an equal opportunity employer with multiple depots across the UK. With a fleet of over 90 vehicles and 120+ employees, we are one of the UK’s leading providers of logistical support and warehousing.
Due to recent expansion, we have two new vacancies for HGV Class 1 Drivers at our Rochdale depot. The role is a long-term and secure contract, trunking palletised goods, on a 4 on 4 off contract, for one of the world’s largest companies.

HGV Driver Benefits

• Driving from fulfilment centre to fulfilment centre only.

HGV Driver Requirements
• A minimum of 1 years class 1 driving experience
• Availability to work PM start times (flexibility required)
• Drug and ******* check
• Criminal background check
• Valid HGV Class 1 licence (CE)
• Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
• Valid Digital Tachograph
HGV Driver Responsibilities
• Use route navigation apps and knowledge of area to deliver trailers to fulfilment centres.
• Interact with colleagues and customers in a helpful and professional manner.
• Complete daily maintenance checks on vehicles and trailers.
• Maintain electronic logs to track routes and deliveries
Shift Patterns
• PM start times.
• 4 on 4 off, with overtime available.
• Long-term and secure contract.
