We’re looking for HGV 1 Drivers for our DC based in Harlow, Essex. Successful applicants will receive a competitive salary + benefits.

We're proud of our best in class DC’s that operate across the UK, two in the West Midlands, one in Harlow and our newest DC operation opened in Wigan in June 2016. These DC's are the heart of our business servicing our nationally based store network with our amazing products.
About You
You'll be an experienced Class 1 Driver with experience in driving Class 1 and 2 vehicles ideally with Store Delivery experience, and it goes without saying that you’ll be used to driving all types of vehicles such as 33ft, 45ft and Double Decker trailers.
• Drug and ******* Test will be required pre-employment.
• Holder of a full HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Maximum 6 points on licence, No drink driving endorsements
• Capable of coping with significant change and a fast paced environment
• Customer focused
• Driver CPC Card with a minimum of two years before expiry
• Minimum 1 year experience
• No IN or DD codes.

HGV 1 Driver Harlow Distribution Centre
Our DC's are well oiled machines but that's down to every single one of our colleagues working hard every day to ensure our products get from A to B. You will be in charge of completion of vehicle check sheet prior to departure, reporting any vehicle defect to the Transport Office whilst making sure you are compliant of transport tachograph legislation.
You'll Also Be Responsible For
• Delivering pallets and cages of chill/frozen and ambient stock to stores
• Collection of pallets, cardboard and cages from stores.
• Collection of stock from suppliers or outbases.
• Assistance in the offloading of stock at store.
• Accountability of completion of driver trip sheets on a daily basis.
