HGV Class 1 Drivers Needed - Normanton

We are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for ongoing work at a leading logistics company based in Normanton. We offer guaranteed, ongoing work and flexible start times to suit you.
Role Overview
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for carrying out a mixture of local and distance work to Regional Distribution Centers (RDCs) across the UK. This role involves driving a HGV Class 1 vehicle with curtainsided or box trailers, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods.
Hours & Shift Patterns
• Shifts available Monday - Friday each week on Afternoons or Nights.
• Start Times between 1200 - 2100
• Average Shift Length + - 11 Hours
Pay
• Monday - Friday: £170 per shift
• Weekends £1+0 per shift
• Rates are PAYE Including Holiday Pay or Umbrella
Duties
• Driving a HGV Class 1 vehicle with curtainsided or Box trailers
• Carrying out trunking work to RDCs across the UK
• Completing a mixture of local and distance work depending on the run
• Completing daily vehicle checks and managing your driving hours
Skills & Experience
• HGV Class 1 Driving Licence, CPC & Digi Card
• At least 1 year of HGV Class 1 driving experience
• No more than 6 points for minor endorsements
• Experience with curtainsided trailers and the ability to check and secure loads
